I Will Miss You, March

What a month. For now, this month is the BEST month of the year :-)

The start of the month of March was really disappointing. We were still adjusting because of the recent fire that happened here in our building (no electricity for 3 days = hell) -- I also felt so stressed because I still have tons of school projects to finish. But thank God I get to finish them all. The Lord is good :-)

March 3rd -- Hello electricity :-) Plus, I read a great news from Tim Yap... he tweeted:

March 5th -- Another great news from Tim as he tweeted:

March 6th -- Went to Dusit Hotel for the first time! I actually updated my blog about the exciting experience I felt :-) Go browse my Archives ;) I also bought my first ever Philippine Tatler magazine, mainly because two of my favorite people was featured there --- Georgina Wilson and Solenn Heussaff. They are too gorgeous, smart and talented.

March 8-10 -- Hello exams! I get to take the exams earlier than some of my classmates because the teachers needed to compute our grades for the Recognition Day :-) It was fun taking the exams earlier... why? It only means one thing -- EARLY SUMMER VACATION! Shabba.

March 9th -- Very memorable day. Went to have lunch at the Terrace At The 5th and met really awesome people including Tim Yap! Met and had a very inspiring lunch with him. The food was scrumptious. Got my prize -- a Nokia 5230. After the gathering, my mom and I ate at Red Mango and saw the beautiful Teresa Herrera :-) It was my first time to eat at Red Mango also. Yummy yogurt. Nice ambiance. After Greenbelt, I went home to do some assignments and review for the exams for the next day. Wow. It was my first time to go to a concert with a FINAL EXAM on the next day --- glad I survived the exams. The concert was incredible! Hayley Williams sang her heart out for Manila. Taylor York is really hot in person. The people in the concert were too FANGIRLS/FANBOYS. Hahaha. With all those pushing in the VIP area? Not cool. But still, I survived. Thank you Paramore for the unforgettable night. The concert ended really early so, I go to review for the exams later that night :-) Check out my blog entry about my Paramore experience here :)

March 14th -- Went to another concert! This was really unexpected because I haven't bought any ticket or anything. This was all because of my friend :-) Thanks to her! I went to Owl City's concert. It was dope but we got lame seats. Super far away from the stage. The music was really fun and soothing. Good work Adam! Here's my blog entry about this concert.

March 15th -- My Papa's birthday! :-) Plus, one of my favorite bands of all time -- CAROLINA LIAR, sent me a Direct Message on Twitter. It was shocking and I felt really happy after reading the message. They are amazing! You guys should check them out ;)

March 18th -- First time reserving for a seat for the COBRA STARSHIP concert! It was memorable.

March 25th -- The actual day of the Cobra Starship concert. I was sooo stoked to see them perform live! They are sooo amazing. So happy that they get to perform here in Manila. Got great seats and died when Gabe Saporta read my "MRS. SAPORTA" sign. His look is to die for! I kept on screaming the whole time and of course, I had an AWESOME night. They already completed my summer. I hope I can rewind everything that happened that night. What an amazing memorable experience. I also got to meet them twice. March 27th -- Experienced my first photoshoot for KFC and experienced earning money!! :-) Thank you to my sister.

March 30th -- Finished The Last Song book in just a day! Amazing heart-warming book written by Nicholas Sparks. I really can't wait for the movie! It's already showing in America but the movie will be on cinemas this May for Manila -- boo :(

That were the unforgettable memories that happened this month! Three concerts in a month. Crazy but fun ;)

OH MY EFFING GOSH.

I said that a million times last night. Last night was soo surreal! I went to Trinoma to watch Cobra Starship's concert here in Manila -- waited for hours in the line, maybe five whole hours? The security was very very strict and kinda annoying. But when the soundcheck started, I screamed my heart out when I saw GABE SAPORTA. Oh my god. He is soooo hot in person. After the soundcheck, we waited for another hour. My feet were dying already! But at last, we got pretty decent seats :) Then Cobra Starship started with my all time favorite: "The City Is At War" --- I still remember the days when I discovered Cobra Starship via YouTube! When I saw their video for that song. First impression? GABE SAPORTA is one hot dude. Hahaha. After that, I started listening to their music and the like. Plus, their merch is theeeee dopest!

Before the show started we saw Chris! My friend and I shouted "CHRIS!!". He was shocked and then he finally saw us. We waved and smiled at him :) He did wave and smiled at us too. It was amazing.

I held a "MRS. SAPORTA" sign and at one point, Gabe Saporta noticed my sign and my friend's "HEY ASSHOLE, WILL YOU MARRY ME" sign! His smile was to die for! I can still remember his look and reaction while reading the sign. It was so surreal that my friend and I freaked out!

I freaking hate the fact that we can't dance in the concert because we were seated. We were standing when the catchy songs were being played but the security was so strict and they forced us to seat down. Eff them. Hahaha! But we had a VERY GOOD TIME. They were all so hot.

The concert was short. It lasted for only an hour or two. Then it's meet and greet + CD signing time! I was not that excited because I thought I only had the CD signing stub! Thanks to the bouncer dude. OH MY GOD. I MET THE COBRAS TWICE. We had a picture taken together that I should claim TOMORROW at Trinoma. So excited to see it!!

I really wish someone videotaped my meet and greet experience! It was my first time meeting an international band. It was an awesome experience. I can't wait to see the photo!! :) I got a signed CD + photo and a poster!

All We Ever Do Is Say Goodbye

Today was the last day of school for the year 2009 - 2010.

I am happy that the school year is over, mainly because I'll get enough rest without school, I'll be more relaxed and I will not worry about projects, exams and things like that.

But I'll be sad because, I will definitely miss my close friends. Especially the ones who are leaving the campus already.. :-( I really hate goodbyes.

I still remember the first day of school -- where I accidentally broke a jalacy window. What a great way to start the school year right? Anyway, I got elected as Class Secretary and the days pass by... Met new friends and the like. Long Tests, Final Exams, never ending talks with my closest friends., dramas (Hello, highschool) and never ending picture taking :-) We went to Enchanted Kingdom for our field trip. It was really fun :-)

We also had our yearly Glamerry Christmas Party where everyone dresses up fashionably :-) I was also one of the girls who won in the highest heels award. Hahaha. It was so hilarious. I also embarrassed myself for the second year in a row already --- playing volleyball without knowing how to REALLY PLAY volleyball. Hahaha. It was for the grade ;)

Comparing to last year's activities -- I got in a lot of different experiences and opportunities. But not like this year, there were just some. I really don't have an idea why. I really hope there will be a lot of fun activities next year ;)

This year, I also won Miss Sportsfest 2010 which really means a lot to me. It was my first trophy ever. My friends and I really enjoyed the College Week, never ending walks/parades and the Family Day. So happy that our class are united and we have the best adviser :-) I am also thankful to meet Aurea Bernal.

She's a newbie in the school but it seems like I've met her for more than a year! So happy that I'm still close with my clique last year.

I can't believe that the school year is done already!

Time really flies when you're having fun. Thank you for the people who was part of my school year 2009-2010.

Drenched In Manila Twilight

Happy Monday everyone!

Thank god we don't have classes today. It's the Lenten Recollection of the teachers in our school. I finished everything already -- the projects and the examinations... but I still need to go to school to complete my clearance and cherish every second with my close friends that I might not see next year :( Thank god for Facebook!

Anyway, last night -- I went to the concert of Owl City. I never thought I'll be going there since I'm not a big fan (I only love love Vanilla Twilight, Dental Care, If My Heart Was A House and Fireflies) But my friend offered my to go with her since she has extra passes ;) So, why not?

We waited for hours.. then finally we saw the venue -- it was small, not like the Mall Of Asia Concert Grounds (Duh, Luiza) --- but seriously, Adam Young was like the size of a half cockroach! That small. We weren't that lucky to have good seats. Hahaha. But that's fine. We still enjoyed.

The concert was really relaxing but we were hyper that night and sang with Adam Young in some of the songs --- So, sorry for the people who'll watch the videos I took from the concert! Hahahaha. I'm actually uploading them right now.

The next concerts I'm planning to watch --- Cobra Starship, Timbaland + Jojo + Justin Timberlake (This March) and John Mayer (This May) I really really want to buy merch from Cobra Starship. Their shirts are the bomb. Saw the merch on MySpace a long time ago. Oh, and I want to go to the Timbaland+ Jojo + Justin Timberlake because, HELLO?! JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE is a legend. It would be awesome if I see him perform live plus, he'll be having a special secret guest. I wonder who that is. I hope I can watch all those concerts.

My Paramore Experience

Didn't have time to blog about it on the day of the concert because I was too busy. It was our exam week by the way. Thank God I survived the exams after the concert! :)

Anyway, March 9 was thee craziest day I've had so far in the year 2010. Just thinking about it makes me feel so stressed! First, I went to school to take my examinations... four of them. I finished at 11:30am and immediately got home to dress up and go to Greenbelt (Terrace) to eat lunch with the #Yap4Grabs winners and Tim Yap. Then after lunch, I'll go home and study for the exams for the next day and then get ready for the Paramore concert. Wow. It's amazing that I survived March 9! :)

I'll first blog about the Tim Yap experience :)

I was first really nervous to be around the winners. I'm so shy and I'm not sociable. But thank God I've talked to some of them :) I was also nervous to meet Tim Yap! We had lunch first at the Terrace -- the food was really yummy! :) Then waited for a few minutes then Tim Yap arrived! He gave a little speech and gave the phones to the winners one by one. When it was my turn, I felt nervous but just smiled. I felt comfortable because he's so friendly! Thank you Tim for the phone -- that I gave to my sister because she needs it more than I do ;) Oh, and Tim signed my Tatler magazine.

After the lunch gathering, I convinced my mom to go to Red Mango with me! I've never been to Red Mango before. Hahaha. Then, we ate there and I saw the gorgeous Teresa Herrera! I was too shy to say "Hi" to her. I tweeted her saying that I saw her there and she said: "Next time say hi :p" Haha :) She's adorable!

Then, I took some photos while on the way to get a cab with my mom.

Then, at home I got dressed for the Paramore concert and while waiting for the time, I did my homework. Then it was 6pm. I went to the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds. Wow. The place was packed! The most annoying thing that happened was the production decided to join the VIP and the Gold section together. Wow. What a blast :| The VIP section (P10,000) while the Gold section was only (P4,000) People were complaining here and there. Met some people who was complaining also and we got escorted to the stage when the concert was starting :) I heard someone said: "Who do they work for?!" Hahaha. It was hilarious.

Then the concert finally started. It was on time. Hayley Williams is so gorgeous and Taylor York is super hot! Hayley was wearing a "Para Thrilla In Manila" shirt that I think she just made. I took both videos and photos! That's why my arms are killing me after the day of the concert.

The concert was super dope. I love love love it even though it was short. The concert ended up at 10pm. Not like Katy Perry's concert that ended up at 12midnight last time. Haha :) But never mind the time. It was worth it. Can't wait for the other concerts this year! :)
