Day 1: Welcome Freshmen!

Today was my first day of being a college student! We didn't have any lectures yet and we didn't even had a chance to meet our professors. When I arrived at our building (Beato Angelico) I saw my high school classmate, Toby! I met some of his friends then we all went up to the 5th floor. I wanted to see my room so I went down to the third floor. I got nervous since I can't find the Room 300 anywhere! I met a blockmate while searching for Rm.300! We asked the guard and he said that the Rm. 300 is outside the Beato building.

We need to pass by the swimming pool area which was kinda weird haha.

Lol at the "No vandalism" sign. Look at my desk :| Our room was typical. I met some blockmates there also :) We went to Starbucks since we got bored in the room.

We planned to go to the chapel but there were too many people :(

Took random photos while walking and exploring UST!

When I got home, I took a 5-hour nap! Too exhausted from all the walking I did. I also hate the bipolar weather today :( Day 2 of classes on Wednesday! Excited to meet all of my blockmates :)

Epic news!

Around 10:20pm last night, I checked my phone and saw my friend's text message about The Maine, Mayday Parade and Forever The Sickest Kids coming back to Manila this September! Got so stoked then I immediately checked Twitter and saw a tweet saying "THE MAINE, FTSK, MAYDAY PARADE, A SKYLIT DRIVE, MARIANAS TRENCH AND PRETTY RECKLESS SEPT. 30" -- The moment I saw "The Pretty Reckless" I freaked out!!!! Ahhhh!! One of my dreams coming true yet again! I've been dying to see them perform live. I thought it was impossible since I live in the Philippines where they don't even sell the CDs of The Pretty Reckless. But nothing really is impossible! The venue is awesome too!!! SMX Convention Center! Ahhh! I love that place. That's the official venue of Philippine fashion week so the place is already familiar to me :) I need to save my money and should NOT spend my school allowance! I will probably buy around the last week of June. So stoked!! See you guys there! Just realized that this will be the last concert I'll be watching as a nineteen year old!

FYI

I will start blogging daily starting next week (if our internet connection gets stable) I want to write down everything from day one of my college to the last day :) From my third-fourth year of high school, I used Twitter but since I can't view my old tweets anymore, I'll just use this blog! Oh, and I will also post my plates on my other blog: The Style Prodigy ☺It's my fashion/art blog.

So excited to blog about college!!! :)

Goodbye High school!

Wow. Time flies. I still remember my first day of high school in La Consolacion College Manila. Honestly, I loathed the school since I was too attached to my previous school -- Saint Jude Catholic School. I met a lot of different personalities in La Consolacion College Manila and I am very thankful for that. I was really planning to blog about this back in March. But I was never in the mood. It's already June! Can you believe it? College starts on Monday ☺ I am very excited to learn. Anyway, I just wanted to share some photos from my graduation :) Enjoy!

It's one of the best days of my life especially because of my dad! He always gets bored easily when it comes to these kind of events... still so happy he got to see me get my high school diploma! :) I'm also a part of the top 10 of our batch! I'm number 9! ☺ Super proud of myself. It was really my goal to get medals during graduation. I said to myself that I want to see myself wearing a toga with medals dangling on my neck. So happy I reached my goal! :)

College, I am ready for you!

The Maine live in Manila (again!)

When they announced that The Maine will have a concert here in Manila again, I got very excited but sad at the same time since I was pretty sure that I won't be seeing them perform live nor meeting them again. A few weeks after they announced that they are already selling tickets, the Platinum tickets were sold out already :( I wanted to buy a ticket but I was pretty sure I won't be enjoying the view in the Gold section (imagine all the people from the Platinum section with their cameras and stuff) But God is good! I met someone on Twitter selling their Platinum ticket for The Maine (for some reason that I don't know) ☺ I immediately tweeted back and said that I am interested to buy (goodbye savings haha) It was my graduation gift for myself since nobody gave me anything for graduation (yes I know, I sound so spoiled. I know that education is already the best gift but I love receiving gifts especially when I really deserve it)

I would also consider this as a graduation gift -- Nikita's invite for me to come to the RX booth and (drum roll please...) MEET THE BAND! ☺ She also asked the band to sign my CDs and my meet & greet photo taken last year. That day was so surreal! I regret not taking videos and stuff haha but I wouldn't forget all the happenings that day! I got to hug Garrett, Pat and Jared again :)

On the day of the concert, I waited for hours in the Platinum area. I honestly don't like most of the fans here in Manila. They brag about everything! Well, not all of them but most of the fans. Not all fans can afford merch and have all their CDs and stuff but hello, people still deserve to put a certain band in their favorites and yes, they can still be called fans. Some people are really annoying. Anywayyyy, just wanted to vent that out and fyi, that's just my opinion :p

The lights were superb (see the first photo above) ☺ Sad that they didn't perform Jenny and I'm Sorry live :( But they performed 19 songs so it was still worth it! Such an amazing experience yet again. I hope they'll release a new record as soon as possible and come back again here in Manila! ☺
